Easy access

The maintenance-friendly design is characteristic of the rail-road vehicle. Some features:

  • The transmission can be easily uncoupled from the driving axles so that hauling can be done without dismounting propeller shafts
  • The parking brake can be suspended mechanically
  • The guiding device can be operated by a manual pump and a distributor valve
  • The vehicle can be transported on a standard lowboy
  • All equipment is properly mounted in locked compartments with easy access
  • No ballast weights which hinder the access
  • Points of measurement are plentiful present
  • The parts and components originate from truck industry and from the earthmoving machines market,  consequently off-the-shelf available

Maintenance can be handled by the same engineers as those involved in road fleets, without the need for or cost of specialist locomotive technicians and servicing facilities.
