Staden (03/01/2022) – MOL CY is pleased to announce the completion of a management buy-out and the restructuring of the Board of Directors.

The MOL Group has developed into a leading vehicle manufacturer and supplier of machine parts with branches in Staden (BE), Kachtem (BE) and Nijmegen (NL) with over 75 years of experience and expertise in the construction of trucks, trailers and refuse collection vehicles and other industrial equipment.
The MBO initiates a new era for the MOL Group and has provided the Group with an appropriate leadership structure to enable Martin Mol’s retirement and continue to drive the MOL Group forward into the future.

The new shareholders – managing directors are Alexander Desplentere, Bram Callewaert and Lieven Neuville.
❖ Alexander (44y) has been with the company for 20 years, starting in the R&D department and is in charge of the general management of the waste collection vehicles.
❖ Bram (38y) started at MOL CY in 2006 as project leader within the truck department, after 5 years he became head of the IT department and more recently he became also responsible for the parts department.
❖ Lieven (53j) has been working in the vehicle department for over thirty years, first as project manager and later as technical sales manager.
They will continue to be closely involved in their current areas of work, in addition to the new challenges presented by the position of managing director. Martin Mol will continue to provide his vast knowledge and insight and will chair the board.

The new shareholders are pleased and honoured to continue the long-standing success of the MOL Group and thank Martin for his dedication and drive over the past 47 years and for setting up a succession plan that ensures continuity for our staff, customers and suppliers.
This is the beginning of a new period for the MOL Group, which we are confident will bring future growth and opportunities for all stake holders.
